About Château Saint-Pierre
Château Saint-Pierre is located in the Saint-Julien appellation. The vineyard is on a soil of gravels of Gunzian origin covering a clay-sandy layer. The estate was born in the 17th century. In fact, this 4th Grand Cru Classé was the result of several successions. But, by luck and tenacity, Henri Martin was able to reconstitute the property of wine production n 1982. The one as known in 1855, year of the famous classification. Since then, and thanks to the owners’ investment, Château Saint-Pierre has been recognized by everyone as a perfect representative of the Grands Crus Classés of the prestigious Saint-Julien appellation.
