About Château Lajarre
Château Lajarre is located a few kilometers southeast of Saint-Emilion. Located on gravelly-siliceous soil, Château Lajarre has a terroir that is perfect for growing quality vines. Since the acquisition of the property in 2005, Grégory Lavato has made many investments: thoughtful and reasoned plantations or replanting in order to obtain a more balanced and better adapted grape varieties as well as the renovation of the vat room. The wines produced are fruity, with aromas of red fruits, good tannic structures, elegant and round on the palate. They can be consumed quickly, but are also suitable for aging.
