About Mas de Daumas Gassac
It is Saint Benedict of Aniane, advisor to Charlemagne, who creates the vineyard of Mas de Daumas Gassac, from the 80s. We can think that Saint Benedict had Charlemagne taste the first wines of the valley. Thus Daumas Gassac’s Grands Crus are born in the shadow of a prestigious abbey like most famous great wines. Today the property of Mas Daumas Gassac belongs to the Guibert family. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the assembly of Daumas Gassac Grande Cuvée Rouge. The white Daumas Gassac is produced with Chardonnay, Petit Manseng and Viognier.
