About Château Léoville Poyferré
Château Léoville Poyferré obtained the rank of Second Grand Cru Classé during the famous classification of 1855. Then, in 1920, the family Cuvelier acquired the Château de Léoville Poyferré and Moulin Riche. The diversity of the major soils of Graves reflet the richness of this vineyard. In fact, this diversity contributes to the amplitude and the aromatic complexity of Léoville Poyferré wines, remarkable for their finesse, elegance, balance and age.
