About Château des Graves / Château Crabitey
Château Crabitey is located in the Graves appellation in the wine-growing town of Portets. It is one of the flagship areas of the appellation. Jean-Ralph de Butler entrusted the management of the vineyard in 1982. He restructured it, extended it and built a new winery. Arnaud de Butler succeeded his father in 1998 and bought the estate in 2008. All of theses projects encouraged the quality of the grapes and consequently of the wines. The goal is to make Crabitey one of the flagship vineyards of the South-Gironde region.
