About Château Desmirail
The name of Desmirail is in the Médoc viticulture since the end of the XVIIth century. Jean Desmirail, a lawyer in the parliament of Bordeaux, gives his name to the property. Appreciated by many owners, Lucien Lurton, an emblematic figure in the Bordeaux vineyards, finally acquired it in 1980. Then, in 1992, Lucien Lurton gave his properties to his ten children. Denis, one of the elders, a lawyer by training, succeeded him. He is still extending the work of his father, modernizing the work tool and taking care of the development of this Grand Cru Classé.
