About Château Hautes Graves Beaulieu
Château Haute Grave Beaulieu is the second of the Rose Figeac. The Despagne family has been working in the vineyards and wine industry for eleven generations. The incomparable amount of know-how, experience and accumulated tradition has given him wisdom that helps to cross the clock. In 1972, the family took over some of the vineyards acquired by Louis Rapin between 1938 and 1964 in Montagne, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Libourne. It added several acquisitions on the appellations Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. In 1961, Lous Rapin, owner of La Tour Figeac, grand cru classé of Saint-Emilion since 1954, bought the small estate. Therefore, he grouped other plots and renamed the set La Rose Figeac. It was in order to publicize the alliance between his two wines separated by the gap that draws the border between Saint-Emilion and Pomerol.
