About Château Lascombes

The Château Lascombes vineyard covers 112 hectares of vineyards in the Margaux appellation and 6 hectares in the Haut-Médoc appellation. It is one of the largest vineyards of the Crus Classés of 1855. The vineyard of Château Lascombes benefits from a variety of soils original for the appellation. The vineyard has three distinct groups of approximately equivalent size. On the one hand, a gravelly rump that carries Cabernets Sauvignon and Petit Verdots. On the other hand, grainy clay with Merlots and Cabernets Sauvignon. Finally clay-limestone plots where the Merlot expresses itself perfectly. Moreover, this grape variety dominates the vines of the vineyard for half, an originality compared to other wines of Margaux.

Nose: An earthy and fruity nose with gourmet flavors of red fruits
Palate: The mouth is racy,  opens on a saline point that perfectly matches the fresh red fruits notes
