About La Demoiselle de Sociando-Mallet
La Demoiselle de Sociando-Mallet is the youngest wine of Chateau Sociando-Mallet. It is located in the north of Pauillac. In 1969, when Jean Gautrau decided to acquire Sociando-Mallet, only 5 hectares of vines remained in production. Today the estate covers more than 110 hectares. The vineyard occupies the hillock of Baleyron, one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Médoc.
