About Château Grand Corbin Despagne
Château Grand Corbin Despagne is located northwest of Saint-Emilion, on the gravelly plateau near Cheval Blanc and Pomerol. This estate belongs to the Despagne family since the early nineteenth century. Its reputation gave it the status of Grand Cru Classé at the 1st ranking of Saint-Emilion in 1954. Since 1996, François Despagne, passionate viticulturist and oenologist representing the 7th generation of the family, takes the direction of the Château and establishes a reasoned culture. Petit Corbin Despagne is the second wine of the estate.
